- Dunson
A funeral for Jackie Rosalean Dunson, 50, of Copperas Cove was held Friday at Sheppard Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Copperas Cove. Brother Darwin Holden officiated at the ceremony.
Dunson died March 24 at her residence.
Born May 7, 1953, in Colorado Springs, Colo., Dunson was a housewife and mother. She married William T. Dunson on Aug. 25, 1978, in Pueblo, Colo. and was a member of the Pentecostal church.
Dunson was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Branch and Bessie Rosalean Caswell Branch.
Dunson is survived by her husband, William T. Dunson III of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Cindy Farr of Pennsylvania and Allison Dunson of Copperas Cove; two sons, William Dunson IV and Jeff Dunson, both of Copperas Cove; four sisters, Anna Kushar, Melody Knight, Lola McNeal and Linda Luster, all of Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, Harry Branch of Pueblo, Colo.; and eight grandchildren.

Godley
Joseph E. Godley, 46, of Copperas Cove died March 23 in Temple. Arrangements are pending with Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove.

Sexton
A funeral for William Earl Sexton, 84, of Gatesville, formerly of Copperas Cove, took place March 29 at Sheppard Chapel of Memories in Copperas Cove. Dr. Mark Kemp, pastor of First Baptist Church of Copperas Cove, officiated at the ceremony. Entombment with full military honors followed at Killeen Memorial Park.
Sexton died March 25 in a Gatesville hospital.
Born September 7, 1919, in Lelitia, Ky., Sexton was a veteran of World War II and was retired from General Motors. He married Alma L. Smith on May 5, 1941, in Greenup, Ky.
Sexton was preceded in death by his wife, Alma L. Sexton, on Sept. 16, 2002; and by his parents, Robert Lawrence Sexton and Rosie Ellen Boggs Sexton.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Elkins of Werner, Okla. and Charlotte Brown of Gatesville; a son, Mark Sexton of Gatesville; two brothers, Clinton Sexton and Ray Bentley, both of Baltimore, Md.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
