Reynolds
Funeral services for Clyde L. Reynolds, 71, of Copperas Cove were held Aug. 6 at Crawford- Bowers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Hooser officiating. Burial with full military honors followed at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. He died Aug. 2 at a local hospital.
Reynolds was born Aug. 22, 1930, in Kennett, Mo. He was raised and educated in Shaw Miss., and graduated from Central Texas College in 1975 with an associate’s degree.
Reynolds retired from the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant after 20 years of service, and also retired from civil service as an automotive supervisor.
Reynolds was a member of the Copperas Cove Model A Club and the Belton Masonic Lodge 320 Scottish Rite. He had lived in the community since 1967 and was a member of Robertson Avenue Baptist Church in Copperas Cove.
Survivors include wife Christel Reynolds of Copperas Cove; two sons, Robert Reynolds of Houston and Thomas Reynolds of Killeen; a daughter, Brenda Holt of Copperas Cove; brother Clifford Reynolds of Drew, Miss.; two sisters, Cordie Mae Hamilton of Morton, Miss. and Mary Christine Kline of Grayson, La; and one grandchild.


Bruni
Funeral services for Viktoria Louise Bruni, 58, were held August 8 at Crawford-Bowers Chapel in Copperas Cove. Burial followed the service at Copperas Cove City Cemetery. She died August 4 at a hospital in Killeen of natural causes.
Bruni was born September 22, 1943 in Munich, Germany were she was raised and educated. She married Alfred Bruni on December 22, 1961 in Munich, Germany. Bruni worked as a seamstress with Lena’s Dressmaker Fabric Shop in Copperas Cove for over 12 years. At the time of her death she had been a sales associate in the fabric department of the Copperas Cove WalMart for over 10 years. She was a member of the Catholic denomination and had been a member of the community since 1967.
Survivors include her husband Alfred Bruni; three sons Ray Bruni of Killeen, Michael Bruni and Pete Bruni; three brothers Berti Siegl, Franzi Siegl, and Bernard Siegl all of Munich, Germany; two sisters Mausi Haannelore Cahner of Munich, Germany and Helga Bernard of Conneaut, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Hughes
Graveside services for Lynda Lou Hughes, 47, of Copperas Cove, were held Aug. 2 at Santa Anna Cemetery in Santa Anna with the Rev. Jeff Robinet officiating. She died Aug. 1 at a Killeen hospital.
Hughes was born Aug. 17, 1954, at Fort Hood. She was the daughter of the late Maj. Martin Hughes and Nancy L. Hughes. She was graduate of Copperas Cove High School and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Gatesville.
Her father preceded her in death. Survivors include her mother and a brother, Marty Hughes, DVM.
Memorials may be made to the Santa Anna Cemetery, Santa Anna, Texas 76878. Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove handled arrangements.
Uphill
Funeral services for Harold M. Uphill, 83, of Copperas Cove, were held Aug. 6 at Hillside Evangelical Methodist Church in Copperas Cove with the Rev. Russ Cochran officiating.
Burial followed at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. He died Aug. 3 at a Killeen hospital.
Uphill was born Oct. 19, 1918, in Kenosha, Wis. He lived in the Copperas Cove area for more than 20 years, and was retired from the Copperas Cove City Housing Authority. He was a member of Hillside Evangelical Methodist Church and the “Lil’ Tex Coffee Club” in Copperas Cove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Uphill; and three brothers, Eugene, Henry and Delmar Uphill. He is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Uphill of Copperas Cove, a son, Dennis Uphill, also of Copperas Cove; one brother, Wilbur Uphill of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove handled arrangements.
